Heroics of motorists rescues two babies

The heroics of a group of motorist saved the life of a toddler and baby, who were struck in an overturned car and help to resuscitate them as tornadoes hit the state.

In a video footage it can be seen that the family’s vehicle had been overturned and partially submerged in floodwaters near Myrtle Springs, as passers-by use a lot of force to open the doors to rescue the kids.

Phillipe Ocheltree confirmed on Facebook that his baby son was recovering well while with two-year-old daughter Addy was “stable and doing much better”.

He wrote: “Still under sedation, but pulling the breathing tube in the morning to see if she can do it on her own.

“All scans and tests say it looks promising, we seriously cannot thank all of the friends, people, family, everyone that has been with us thank you all for your support and prayers the man upstairs is hearing them loud and clear.”

Storms ravaged nation’s South and Midwest over the weekend killing at least people. Tornadoes hit dozens of small towns in East Texas, killing at least 4 people.

Due to flooding and winds at least five people lost their lives in Arkansas.
