Indian American Friendship Council Organizing Indian American Festival in Texas on May 4

The Indian American Friendship Council, a non-profit organization, is organizing Indian American Festival on May 4 at Cypress Waters, Blvd, Texas, announced Dr. Prasad Thotakura, President of the IAFC.

The theme of the event is “Merge into the Mainstream”. The event will have an appealing open stage with and comprise food booths, non-food booths, petting zoo, pony rides, Mehandi, face painting, bounce house, stilt walkers, balloons giveaway to Kids and many more.

The event will witness over 500 youth participating in Music, Classical, Semi-classical, Filmy Dance programs. Renowned Coppell ISD School Band with more than 80 musicians will be performing at the event.

The event will end with spectacular fireworks.

Besides, voter registration drive is set up at the event to encourage eligible Indian Americans to register to vote for participating in United States elections.     

List of Special Artists from India  

1. America's Got Talent semi-finalist Kranthi Kumar from Hyderabad is performing adventurous acts like - breaking coconut with an Index finger, drilling his nose without any blood traces, drinking boiling oil with his both hands, inserting 32 long knives into his throat, hitting a nail on a wooden plank using only his forehead, and many more.

2.Hyderabad-based Parody Guruswamy, a renowned comedian and singer.
