A total number of 45,352 new cases of coronavirus are reported in the country in the last 24 hours in India as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry. 34,791 people recovered and are discharged in the country in the past one day in India. The recovery rate in the country climbed to 97.45 percent. There are 3,99,778 active cases of coronavirus in the country currently and the total number of recoveries reached 3,20,63,616. With 366 new deaths reported in India in the last 24 hours, the total death tally is at 4,39,895. The total number of administered vaccinations in India reached 67,09,59,968.

Kerala continues to report a high number of cases and 32,097 new cases are reported in the state yesterday along with 188 new deaths in a single day. There is a sharp fall in the new cases when compared to yesterday in the country. The active cases have been increasing on a regular basis in the country which is worrying everyone. The health experts have predicted about the third wave of coronavirus in September and October. Several states reopened the schools but most of the parents have not shown interest to send their children to schools. As per the reports from the Indian Council of Medical Research, the total samples that are tested in India yesterday are 16,66,334 and the samples tested in total reached 52,65,35,068.
