California state has set a new record of becoming the first US state to mandate solar panels up on new homes and other apartment buildings which are to be built after January 1, 2020.

The unanimous approval of the plan was made by The California Energy Commission, by making it as the State’s biggest step towards ending green house gas emissions.

State law has already confirmed that it about 50% of the electricity comes from non carbon emitting sources by 2030.

The approved mandate is yet to be signed off by the Building Standards Commission.

The critics on decision has noted that the solar panel mandate will cost between $8,000 and $12,000 for each home to accounted.

The energy commission has estimated that house owners will have to spend additional $40 to as a monthly security interest payments mean while, the commission added saying that they could save $80 on home utilities like heating, cooling and lighting costs every month.

There are signs that the solar industry of United States is about to tear itself apart, as another competing state fights for misinformation on the tools of solar power generation.

This new mandate by the California state is also raising expectations, where the power is not practicable or economically enough to execute for an instance like homes located entirely under shade, where there no scope of light energy.

The building contractors would have an option of making additional solar panel arranged on individual homes, or apartment shared building system or for group of homes.

The requirement of solar panels may not be necessary for the house owners at present, although the other states, have done using the discounted programme by the government.

The state of California has invested over $42m in the solar energy project, till date, and the recent mandate is likely to boost the solar industry state wide in near future.
