California fires death toll rises to 17 people

At least 17 are killed in raging wildfires in North California. Hundreds of people are missing in this incident. Hundreds of firefighters strived to battle these flames and kept thousands away from blaze’s path.

These fires were ignited on Sunday; these flames were driven by winds of more than 50 mph and dry conditions. More than 20,000 people had evacuated till Tuesday night.

Captain Mike Palacio said that this would be one of the worst disasters in California history, you gotta be patient were just trying to keep people alive.

Wildfires burned around 115,000 acres in California. The largest fires were burning in Sonoma, Napa and Mendocino Counties. The White House said that Trump has signed a major disaster declaration.

More than 100 people were being treated at Napa and Sonomo area hospitals. There are many cases regarding fire-related injuries like burns, smoke inhabitation and shortness of breath.

Families are searching for their family members after this incident. The biggest blaze, the Tubbs fire has reduced more than 27000 acres.
