Indian Army destroys Pakistan forward Post

In a courageous response to the continuous recent cease fire violations from the Pakistan side of the Line of Control the Indian Army destroyed a Pakistani forward post in Naushera Sector. Calling for proactive counter-terrorism operations in order to maintain peace and stability in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

Major General Ashok Narula said in a press meet said that the infiltration activities must be curbed as they might negatively influence the youth in the area.

“Pakistan Army has been providing support to armed infiltrators by engaging our forward troops from their weapon emplacements and pill-boxes closer to the Line of Control (LoC). At times they have not even hesitated to target villages in the proximity of Line of Control,” Narula said.

He said that the Indian Army has been proactively dominating the LoC region and added that the locations aiding infiltration of terrorists have been identified and destroyed.

“Infiltrations are likely to increase to with melting of snow and opening of passes,” he said.

“It is essential to bring down the number of incidents in J&K so that the youth are not influenced,” he added.

 

In a video released by the Indian Army, it showed that a Pakistani post being bombarded with artillery fire.

The army foiled an infiltration attempt in the Nougam sector of North Kashmir on May 21st, by killing four militants.

But unfortunately two troops were also martyred in the encounter.

A Pakistani Border Action Team entered into the Indian soil and ambushed an Indian Army patrol on May 1. The Pakistani troops disrespectfully killed two Indian troops and mutilated their bodies.
