The suspect in Ohio State attack which left 11 injured has been linked to Dallas, according to Catholic Charities.
Catholic Charities confirmed that, Abdul Razak Ali Artan briefly stayed at their shelter in Dallas. Artan was born in Somalia and living in the United States as a legal permanent resident.
It was June 5, 2014 when a young teenager named Abul Razak Ali Artan arrived in Dallas with his mother and six siblings.
According to Columbus State Community College spokesman, Allen Kraus, he enrolled at College from the fall semester of 2014 through the summer semester of 2016.
Catholic Charities C.E.O. Dave Woodyard explained, that "We gave them aid and comfort and some shelter as part of the government resettlement program." The family was in temporary housing in Dallas for 23 days, leaving June 28, 2014.
Woodyard said that, "Then they emigrated. Left, and moved onto Columbus, Ohio." "And that's when we closed our file."
"These people all fit that criteria and we are trusting our government has done an appropriate check and they are coming to us the best possible manner," Wooyard said.
