The Police Shot a man with rocks in his hands who was destroying a woman’s car outside the Love Field airport in Dallas. The police shot him after he charged at the officer.

In a written description of the incident the officer stated, that the  person , Shawn Diamond was the father of the woman’s children. The incident happened outside the baggage claim counter. According to the witnesses, the person told the police “Shoot me” before charging at the officer.

In a social media video, the sounds of  the five shots from the officer’s gun were clearly heard along with volley of several more. Shouts of “get down” was also clear and the police officer with a pistol could be seen in the footage. It is reported, that a traffic was created due to the incident outside the airport, which is a major centre for Southwest Airlines. In the video and the images, the woman’s car was shown damaged. But the police reported, that she was not injured. Diamond was taken to a local hospital and now he is in a stable condition.

Due to this chaos, many people entered the secured area in the airport without proper screening. But the Airport authority have decided to pull them back and a recheck process will be done for some security reasons. The officer who fired  the man, will be given administrative leave during the investigation of shooting.
