Analysis

Happy Wedding Movie Review, Rating, Story, Cast and Crew

The first half of Happy Wedding runs on a smooth pace and is laced with entertainment and youthful elements. Sumanth Ashwin and Niharika have been subtle, delivers out decent performances. The songs have been ok and they have been shot well. The interval episodes make the film interesting and Happy Wedding has a simple first half which makes the film look decent.

The second half has been dosed with emotional drama and a strong message because of the preachy dialogues turn high. The songs once again have been just ok and they make no impact. The pre-climax episodes turn clumsy and they have been dragged too much. The climax looks simple but the audience get bored because of the snail paced narration. On the whole, the second half of Happy Wedding fails to live up the expectations.

Performance

Sumanth Ashwin who pinned many hopes on Happy Wedding has been extremely convincing in the assignment. He has been matured and looks decent in the role. Niharika looks gorgeous and showed enough maturity with her acting skills. All the other leading actors have done justice for their roles and they worked with perfection.

Happy Wedding has a simple plot which has been penned well. But the emotional preachy dialogues throughout leave the audience in a state of confusion. The music and the background score have been decent. The cinematography work should be widely appreciated and the production values have been lavish. Lakshman Karya has been decent but the second half of Happy Wedding should have been much better.

Final Word

Happy Wedding will not appeal to wider sections of audience because of the overdose of emotional drama and slow paced second half.
