Analysis

Gunturodu Movie Review

The first half of Gunturodu has been packed with outdated entertainment and predictable narration. The audience will be left disappointed with the outdated presentation and Manoj looks fat enough on screen. Even the songs have not been placed well and on the whole the first half of Gunturodu is a huge disappointment. The interval episodes have been presented in an interesting way.

The second half of Gunturodu turns decent and is packed with action throughout. The racy screen play and the powerful presentation save the film from a debacle. Manoj has been stupendous with his performance throughout. The songs have been decent and Pragya steals the show. A light climax and the decent performances makes second half turn passable.

Performance

Manchu Manoj who proved his mettle roars loud with his performance throughout. He looks bulky throughout which will sure disappoint the audience and its high time for the actor to lose enough calories. Pragya Jaiswal looked fresh and glamorous in the movie. Sampath Raj is the other asset for Gunturodu and he rolled the second half with his performance. All the other actors looked decent.

The story of Gunturodu lacks freshness and it has been completely predictable. The screenplay and the dialogues are completely outdated and old fashioned. The music and the background score elevated the film well and it is the cinematography which turned the entire film colourful. The director should have taken enough care on the script for better results. The production values looked completely lavish.

Final Word

Gunturodu packs a puch with the action episodes however the predictable plot and outdated narration make the film fall flat.
