Famous Internet Personality Jay Shetty Accused of Plagiarism

The famous motivational speaker on the internet Jay Shetty, who turned as a monk abandoning life in London and returned India, is currently embroiled in a controversy for allegedly picking up inspirational lines from famous personalities.

Popular YouTuber and Canadian comedian Nicole Arbour accused Jay Shetty of plagiarism and revealed in a recent video that Jay Shetty's content is not very original.

Apart from Arbout, the Instagram page - Diet Sabya - that exposes fake artists came out in support of Arbour.

This being so while some of his followers are still in support him, some are left in shock.

Famously known as a motivational speaker for the millennials, Jay Shetty graduated from the University of London’s Cass Business School. He has been youth sensation for a quite long time now.

Shetty says, from being exposed to drugs to facing freaky accidents, his teenage years were extremely tough and he is said to be passed through every phase.

At the time when he had two deadly accidents, he lost two of his best friends. And since then he was struggling to find an identity. These two incidents made him realize that life is precious and that one needs to understand and value it.

Subsequently, he moved to his place of origin India and lived as a monk. He later moved back to his urban lifestyle and started sharing life-changing tips with people all over the world with the help of social media platforms. His inspirational speeches are motivating millions.

He is enlightened of philosophies and other streams profoundly.

The urban monk was ranked in the list of Forbes 30 Under 30 Class of 2017 Europe. Reportedly, he earned $1 million with Facebook ad revenues in his page with total his net worth is around $2 billion. His Facebook has more than 20 million followers.

Shetty has even made an appearance on some of the famous American shows like The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Today Show. He shared his life journey on these talk shows.

He is credited with having most viewed videos on Facebook in 2018. His YouTube channel has 2.8 million followers. His storytelling and knowledge giving skills made him win the Shorty Award for Best Health & Wellness Creator 2019. He has also created a short film series on YouTube named Invisible World.
