Vivo X300 Series Confirmed to Launch Soon in India

Vivo X300 is set to launch in India soon, as announced by the Chinese smartphone company on Wednesday. This announcement follows a few weeks after the release of the Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro in Europe on October 30. However, the specific date for the phones' release in India has not yet been disclosed. The global versions are equipped with a high-end 3nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor. Both devices have three cameras on their back. The Pro version includes a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 200-megapixel periscope camera that supports digital zoom of up to 100x. In a message on X, formerly known as Twitter, the tech company stated that its top-of-the-line Vivo X300 series will arrive in India soon. More details about features and the exact launch date are still pending. However, it was recently mentioned that the phones might be available in the country in the first week of December. This series was first presented in China on October 13 and then in some global markets on October 30. While the pricing in India has not been revealed, one can examine prices from other regions for guidance.

To summarize, in China, the Vivo X300 started at CNY 4,399 (approximately Rs. 54,700) for the 12GB + 256GB variant, while the 16GB + 256GB option was priced at CNY 4,699 (around Rs. 58,400). Additionally, the more advanced variants like 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB were priced at CNY 4,999 (about Rs. 62,100), CNY 5,299 (around Rs. 65,900), and CNY 5,799 (close to Rs. 72,900) respectively. On the other hand, the entry-level Vivo X300 Pro was initially available at CNY 5,299 (around Rs. 65,900) for the 12GB + 256GB variant. The 16GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB configurations had launch prices of CNY 5,999 (around Rs. 74,600) and CNY 6,699 (about Rs. 83,300), respectively. The Pro model comes in colors like Wilderness Brown, Simple White, Free Blue, and Pure Black, while the standard model is available in Free Blue, Comfortable Purple, Pure Black, and Lucky Colour. Notably, a recent article indicated that the regular Vivo X300 will also be launched in a special red color unique to India.

Regarding specifications, both the Chinese and Global versions of the Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro are the same. The Pro version features a 6.78-inch 1.5K (2,800×1,260 pixels) flat BOE Q10+ LTPO OLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz and circular polarization 2.0. The device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor, supported by up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 internal storage. For photography, it includes a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel main camera featuring optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera equipped with OIS.
