Aamir Khan has received international laurels several times. His recognition only got wider with the inclusion of his name in the 100 most influential people for the year 2013 along with the likes of Barack Obama.
With the celebratory dinner being organized for the 100 most influential people, Aamir Khan has decided to fly to New York to participate in the event. There is a high likeliness that he would meet Barack Obama who will also attend the ceremony.
The star actor who is currently on his schedule of Dhoom 3 shooting has taken a three day leave to attend the celebrations.
Furthermore, this is not the only time Aamir and Obama will shake hands together. Earlier in 2010, Obama met Aamir when he visited India. The primary reason for Aamir's inclusion on the list is most definitely his globally appreciated effort to rid the nation of the evils and corruption tormenting India through his television series in 2012, Satyamev Jayate.
Aamir has made it to one of the seven special covers of Time magazine.
