A major Texas stereotype is that people ride around on horses all day, so when three men trots through a Houston Wal-Mart on top of a horse, it cannot be helped and the news has to go viral.
Woody Fields and two of his friends, ride their horses together each on the weekend, for a candy bar. And gave rides to people.
When, they decided to stop at Wal-Mart, Field and one of his friends took their chance and rode into the store.
Fields recorded a video footage on the trip and posted on his Facebook
“We are in Wally World,” Woods said in a singsong voice accompanied by the clop-clop of his horse’s hooves. “Wal-Mart. Low prices, baby.”
Fields said that as his horse made its way through the store, people did double takes, some backing away slowly. One of the horses relieved himself in the store.
He said that the store’s security guards just watched them walk by.
The video went viral on Facebook, with more than 11,000 likes and was shared more than 37,500 times as of Tuesday afternoon.
About ten thousand Facebook users had commented on the video, in different languages.
Officials at Wal-Mart were not pleased by the visit.
“We in no way condone yesterday's reckless stunt inside our store, and are thankful no one was hurt by these actions,” Wal-Mart said in a statement.
