Sushant Singh Rajput’s final postmortem report confirms suicide without any “foul play”. The late actor’s CA Sanjay Shridhar was called for interrogation by Bandra Police on Wednesday.

Even as the final postmortem report confirms the actor died from asphyxia due to hanging, Bandra police continue to investigate the matter. As per a report in Mumbai Mirror, the CA of Sushant, Sanjay Shridhar’s statement has been recorded regarding Sushant’s financials on Wednesday evening.

As his fans demand a CBI enquiry on his death, the final postmortem report has proved otherwise. His final postmortem report was signed by five doctors after detailed analysis. His viscera have been sent for chemical analysis after careful preservation. The police have asked the Directorate of Forensic Science Services to fasten the analysis at the laboratory.

According to the final postmortem report received yesterday, there were no external injuries on the body of late actor. His nails were also clean and there were no struggle marks anywhere. The death was a clear case of suicide and all the theories relating Sushant’s death to his former manager, Disha Salian, who had met him only once, are baseless.

Mumbai police have recorded the statements of 23 people so far, the 23rd person being the actor’s CA. The 22 others include his father, three sisters, Sidharth Pithani, his creative content manager; Rhea Chakraborthy, Mukesh Chabra, keshav, his cook; Shakeel Hussain, brother of Key smith; Kushal Zaveri, the director of Sushant’s first serial.

Thrashing away the rumours, the Police stated that the CCTV cameras of the actor’s building were working properly and his dog was in another room while the actor committed suicide, and is alive.

Sushant died on June 14, 2020 by hanging himself from the ceiling fan of his apartment in Mumbai. Hours after the heart wrenching incident, the police have found medical prescriptions confirming “clinical depression” and anti-depressants from his house.

Though the evidences prove his depression and suicide, his fans and well wishers couldn’t agree that the actor could commit suicide. Actor Shekhar Suman, this week, has launched a campaign quoting that there’s more to his death and he can’t die by suicide. He belives, Sushant would have left a note if he had decided to end his life.

However, a petition has been filed against 8 significant Bollywood personalities including, Karan Johar, Ekta Kapoor, Aditya Chopra, Bhushan Kumar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Sajid Nadiadwala in Bihar court. The hearing is scheduled for July 3.
